Game Mathematician

We are looking for a Mathematician who can take responsibility for the game’s mathematical model: balance, RTP, event probabilities, behavior scenarios, simulations, model validation and integration.

We don’t just need a theorist who will crunch some numbers and then disappear. We need someone who has already done math for games or very similar products, understands how it works in practice, and can bring the model to a point where it can be seamlessly integrated with development.

Your Mission:

  • Create mathematical models for crash games, gambling games, slots, or similar mechanics

  • Understand RTP, volatility, probability distribution, and payout balancing

  • Conduct simulations, Monte Carlo tests, and stress tests

  • Provide examples of games, models, or reports that have been launched

  • Understand how mathematics translates into tables, rules, and backend logic

  • Support developers during the integration phase to prevent situations where the model is calculated “correctly” but the RTP drifts in production

  • Being attentive and precise

Your Unique Contribution:

  • 3+ years in game math, including 2+ years in slots, crash, or similar gambling mechanics

  • 10+ released games where you were responsible for the math model

  • Strong command of probability theory, distributions, and expected value

  • Experience building models in Excel/Google Sheets + Python (or C++/C#) for simulations

  • Monte Carlo simulations, stress tests, and RTP/volatility validation on large sample sizes

  • Ability to turn a model into production-ready artifacts: paytables, reel strips, config tables, rules

  • Experience supporting developers through integration and verifying RTP in production

  • Understanding of certification requirements and market-specific RTP limits
